Mrs,smith took in Ada and Jamie in and she has no idea how to raise kids. Mrs,smith is nice but the kids say that nice people don't like them because they are not worth it. it is so sad that they don't no better.

there is a lot going on Ada loves were she is but she wont admit it to her self. that makes me mad and Jamie i don't even want to talk about Jamie he is a brat if i was taking care of him i would refuse he is so mean to Mrs,smith and his own sister. he keeps complaining that he want's to go home WHAT A BRAT! he makes me so mad how could he want to go home to his abusive mother that only lets them eat once a day and Mrs,Smith is so kind and lets them shower and eat three meals a day. And he says Ada is not aloud to go out side, but Mrs,Smith does not care and lets her play out side with the horse i think that is sweet what Mrs,smith is doing to both of them she is saving Ada's life.

Ada loves riding her horse she rides every day i think that is vary sweet. she likes going to Fred Grimes horse barn to get butters feet clipped he hasn't got them clipped in so long it was hurting him. I feel bad for butter it would hurt him to go any faster because of his nails. but there getting better and now Ada can gallop on the horse she likes it a lot better now that she can go faster. I think it is vary sweet that she likes to ride horses and that Fred is helping her with horses that is vary kind of him. And Ada loves going over there and helps around Fred's barn. Maybe one day she will get to jump the fence.

I haven't written in a wile but... I finished the book and I cried. First Ada has been riding her horse every day and Fred helps her ride and its vary sweet. but most of the children are going back to there homes, but Ada and Jamie aren't going back and I think that is the smart thing to do. but the war has started and every night there are bombs that fall at first it was really hard for her at first but she got kind of used to it over time. then she jumped the stone wall she was so happy then there in the distance there was mam. I cant believe she came back its crazy why would she come back. she is really mad because Ada is out side and she is walking. Susan is devastated but she doesn't want to talk to them and doesn't even say goodbye. But when they get back to mams new house Ada is mad and sad at the same time. even though they fight all the time they became family close family how would not be sad leaving there family. Ada could not control her self and keep talking back to mam and mam hit her state in the face and she forgot what that felt like and she cried and Jamie was crying to Jamie needed his cat to fall asleep but he did not have his cat they did not have anything and mam took away Ada's crunches. How could she that was the only thing that could make her walk and she took it away. then bombs started to come down but they did not have a shelter so the bombs were pounding down on them but in the distance Susan she came for them and saved there lives.
