Madison's Thoughts

Here are my thoughts: Though abusing your offspring was considered 'okay' during that time period, it's not okay. That's terrible, and shouldn't have been justified even then.

Her mother seems to favor Jamie over Ada. Jamie doesn't agree with how she treats Ada, and sometimes is "rude" to her, though he doesn't know any better, because of how young he was, and because of how their mother treated Ada.

I wasn't here last time, though I can tell you that my thoughts stayed the same. Abusive behavior is never okay, whether it's to a friend, a sibling, a significant other, or a child.
